If I had ever been here before I would probably know just what to do
Don't you?
If I had ever been here before on another time around the wheel
I would probably know just how to deal
With all of you.
And I feel
Like I've been here before
Feel
Like I've been here before
And you know
It makes me wonder
What's going on under the ground
Do you know?
Don't you wonder?
What's going on down under you.
We have all been here before
We have all been here before
We have all been here before
We have all been here before

On March 11, 1970 , Stills, Nash and Young released their Deja Vu album. Besides such greats as Carry On, Teach Your Children and Our House, this album commemorated that weekend in August of 1969 when thousands of hippies converged on a field in Woodstock, New York, for the last great love fest of the Sixties. You didn’t even have to be there to catch the vibe:
“By the time we got to
We were half a million strong
And everywhere there was song and celebration”
In 1997, the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and with good reason.

Well, in 1986, Microsoft had its Initial Public Offering. I’m sure some of you bought shares way back then, but we had only recently plowed some bucks into a Commodore 64 for our son. It was about a year later that the administrative assistant where I worked (we called her the secretary at the time) taught me how to use an Apple IIe. <http://oldcomputers.net/appleii.html> So by the end of the 1980s, we had an Apple IIe clone in our home. Still no Microsoft shares, though. Dang!

On March 13, 1997, the Phoenix Lights—one of the most widely witnessed UFO sightings ever—were seen over one Mexican and four U.S. states, centered on Phoenix, Arizona. I think this could take us back to Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young’s Woodstock:
And I dreamed I saw the bombers jet planes
Riding shotgun in the sky
Turning into butterflies
Above our nation.
And I feel
Like I've been here before
Don't you wonder?
What's going on down under you.
We have all been here before
Six years later, on March 13, 2003, the journal Nature reported that 350,000-year-old upright-walking human footprints have been found in .
What if these footprints were actually made by extraterrestrials so advanced they already had Kumquat computers, bombers whose bombs turned—phoenix-like—into butterfly lights, and rock and roll music? Groovy, man. Déjà vu all over again!
